In-situ conservation for the Costa Rican Lemur Leaf Frog population is being fully supported by Project Lemur Frog and built upon at the Costa Rican Amphibian Research Centre (CRARC), where the wild population continues to be assured through excellent habitat modification, restoration, and site protection. Project Lemur Frog also aims to support further in-situ conservation of the species by facilitating the first re-introduction of the species back to a high altitude area where it once occurred.
