Adam Bland is Assistant Curator of Herpetology at Manchester Museum. He is highly involved in the important maintenance and captive management of ex-situ lemur leaf frogs at the museum, and is involved in the educational use of the animals for education purposes. Adam is a professional herpetologist with a special interest in Costa Rican herpetofauna and especially amphibians. He has visited Costa Rica on several occasions to observe the animals he works so closely with in captivity in their natural conditions. This has helped him breed species in captivity that many people have found impossible to reproduce before.
